Make
a new folder on your desktop name it eg ( Tom Tom GPS data).
Open
the email with data and “save as” the BMP and OV2 files to the new folder
eg(
Tom Tom GPS data). Now connect your TOM TOM to the computer.

Locate folder \Australia or \Australia-map on your TomTom

Open “My Computer” (your screen
may be different to the following images. The principle is the same)
3.
Double click on “Mobile Device”
4.
Double click on “TomTom GO 500” or “My Documents” or “Storage Card”
5.
Double click on “Australia” or
may say “Australia-map”
6.
Copy and Paste the provided speed camera OV2 and BMP files to this location.

Open folder eg
( Tom Tom GPS data).
and copy to the clip board both files
( Red/speed_Cam.OV2 and
Red/speed_Cam.BMP )
this is how select the .OV2 and left click on mouse,
now hold down the “ Ctrl “ key on the key board then left click on
the .BMP file,
now both should be high lighted, now press” Ctrl+C “ to select and this will copy them to
the clipboard.
Go to folder on your device and press “ Ctrl+V “ or
( right click and then the paste button.)
Now the files should be pasted in the folder
“Australia” or may say “Australia-map”
DONE! The final result should be similar to one on the following screen
captures:

“Australia-map”
is the first folder copy and paste them in to this folder.
Restart
your device
It
should all work now or follow the next step if needed
Finally,
to enable POIs in some Tom Toms , you may need to activate
Redspeed, that is
(
tick) it in your POI categories, just follow your TOM TOM on screen directions
(in
manage POIs )or (add POIs).
